Traditionally, a wish is tied to an orange and thrown onto a Wish Tree. We gave this ritual a modern spin with an exclusive Verizon Digital Wish Tree experience which would allow guests to type in their new year wish, virtually tie it to an orange, and “throw,” or swipe, it onto a Wish Tree projected several feet away. In real-time, they could see the wish tied to an orange fly seamlessly from the tablet onto a projection screen and land on the Wish Tree. As more and more guests participate, the tree would continue to grow fuller and more vibrant with colors.
